Book Covers #3

For my next project i am doing a project for my english class. I have to make a 2 book covers for each story. When you read the book or if you have, you will/would understand.

       For one of the stories it deals with animals on a lifeboat with a boy. I thought of putting a tribal tiger on the cover with the boat because those are the important things of this story.

The other story deals with 4 people on a life boat. One of the people is a cook who ends up being a cannibal. In these covers i used a tribal sword/knife because this is what the cooks kills the people with and it plays a major part.

I brought my covers home and asked my parents what they thought. They recommended making the boat black and the tribal symbols orange.

I personally like the knife one with the black boat, but i like the tiger one with the orange boat.

Lady Washington (Fire Patch)

I finished tracing Lady Washington and added her into the patch. these are the 5 patch designs i came up with. I a trial of different colors to see how it would look. Which one do you like?

Project catastrophe

Tracing lady washington is taking longer than i want. i am hoping to have this done by the end of the day. HOPEFULLY!

For the patch, i downloaded the pictures of morristown's first firetruck and sent them to myself. when i logged on to my email today, to find out that they never sent and that the pictures were not attached to the email. :(

Fire Patch #2

For one of the patches i was thinking i put the first firetruck for morristown on it. I went to town hall and got a picture of Lady Washington and now all i have to do is download the pictures and trace over the picture. Tell me what you think!

Fire Patch #2

I have made three patches so far i put thomas Nast in one because he was one of the first volunteer for the fire department. Then i put the firefighter to represent the firefighters. I want to be able to put the first fire truck on the patch and another symbol. 

Fire Patch #2

I have started laying out what i want the fire patch to look like. I also am going to make adjustments to the patch. For the cheers signs I have to cut out the vinyl and assemble the signs.

Cheer Signs #1

I am almost done with my spirit signs all thats left is to cut and assemble. Now my next project is going to be redesigning the morristown fire department's patch that will go on their jackets and trucks. Waiting for an email so I can get started!!!!!! I am very excited the captian that I am doing this for was my fathers captian when he was on the department. Also he happened to fix a leaky pipe that was in my house!!

Cheer Signs #1

For my first project I am finishing cheerleading spirit signs for my schools cheer squad. I would use the vinyl machine to cut out the letters. I would use a thick board to have the vinyl stick to. My project shouldn't take long since I started it last year. I am going to be using illustrator for this project. What do you think?

Excited!!!!

Can't wait to start projects in this class. I also can not wait for october. After the homecoming game I am going to Florida for vacation!!!!! I would be missing a couple days of school, which means I will probably have to take homework with me :'(. At least I can try to see family while I am down there!
